Germs,

That was a fabulous weekend, both on & off the fields. Thanks to the Pretzels for arranging the use of the beach house, including a less-smelly hot tub.

So many new memories to swaddle ourselves in:

• Multiple dance parties, some at clubs with Hobo Joe and Mustache Sweater Vest leering, some in our living room complete with limbo pole, but almost all included Sparks Bridget.
• Infecting everyone with Hurricanitis.
• The Vermont life.
• Spanish commentary (El Medico, El Guapo, El Asiatico, y La Sandy-Pooh) from Sullivan.
• Saturday night at the Starboard with Jimi Smooth (take that, Pat!) and his R&B band. It was like a Cougar Safari in there. One called Katie a d*ke, so she had to go on Border Patrol. Oh, and someone gave Frentzel a live mike.
  
• "Not me, fool!"
  
• "Cotton candy, sweetie go, now let me see that TOOTSIE ROLL!" (I had the lyrics slightly wrong).
  
• Casey cougar-blocking me. You're the worst.
  
• Walking point in our fun game against Vitamin I, and multiple beer-in-hand points. And even a couple vodka-handle-in-hands points.

Oh yeah, the on-field stuff. We were in a Power Pool, meaning that all 3 of our opponents were high-caliber on Saturday. We did pretty damn good for our first tourney, holding our own with all 3 of them. We came out kinda flat Sunday morning against BRDM, so our revenge for Regionals will have to wait.
