  • Immediately after winning the Rochambeaux, Scott dropped a ball in his own cup. Needless to say, his team was boned from the start.
    
  • A shockingly sober Evan subbed for Pat.

• Knappy/Whelan shook up the world by beating Fleary.
  • Knappy took over for Tous who was passed out on my bed. Lucky me.
  • Knappy had left by the next round, so Whelan graciously allowed Fleary to advance.

Semis:

• O'Neill Squared beat Kristen/Kat
• Fleary beat Molly/Kelli

Finals:

Fleary over O'Neill Squared to take the frilly hats and $70 in prize money ($50 went towards the beer). A painfully long game, it came down to each team having one cup in Slow Painful Death, and Fleary finallly ending it.

Thanks are in order. Thanks to Jimmy for the idea of playing 2 games on the ping-pong table simultaneously. Otherwise we'd still be playing. Thanks to Jesse for the idea of pool play. It worked out pretty well with every team playing at least 3 games and everything still ended at a decent time.Thanks to Whelan for keeping track of the A Pool while I kept track of B & C out in the big room.

And next time the rules regarding balls bouncing off of cups will be amended. Never let it be said Cline doesn't learn from his mistakes.
